Forces: soprano & continuo
‘Weep sad eyes, and distil my tears so that my laments fill each hour.’ A wonderfully self-indulgent cantata from the Naples collection. In RARA format, the first a torturous Largo and the second a sprightly Allegro reminiscent of the recorder sonatas.
